10g Olivem 1000
13g Cetryl Alcohol
56g MCT Oil
20g Avocado oil
Cool down stage
0.5g Tea Tree Essential oil
0.5g Vitamin E
Step !:Set up a water bath
Fill a small pot with about 1 inch (3 cm) of water and heat it on low to medium-low until it starts to simmer gently.
Step 2: Melt your ingredients
In a heat-safe glass cup or bowl, add your oils, emulsifying wax, and cetearyl alcohol. Place the cup into the warm water and let everything melt completely.
Step 3: Prepare an ice bath
While your ingredients are melting, fill a separate bowl with ice cubes and cold water—this will help cool the mixture later.
Step 4: Mix & cool
Once everything is melted, remove the cup from the heat and stir gently using a spoon or spatula.
Step :5: Thicken the balm
Place the cup into the ice bath and keep stirring. You’ll start to see the mixture turning cloudy and creamy—this means it’s thickening!
Step 6: Check the texture
Keep stirring until the balm looks like runny lotion (like unwhipped heavy cream). If it gets too thick, it won’t pour smoothly into your jar, so watch carefully!
Step 7: Pour & set
Once it’s the right consistency, pour the mixture into a clean jar and let it sit at room temperature for about an hour to fully set.
Step 8: Label & use!
Your DIY cleansing balm is ready! Use it every day to gently cleanse and hydrate your skin.
Watch it step-by-step!
