This classic and simple Creamy tomato and bean soup recipe is sure to be hit with all the family or a perfect starter for any dinner party.

For this recipe I use Black Pepper and Basil DoTerra essential oils, they really add a flavorful punch to the dish. If you don't have the essential oils don't worry you can just simply use real pepper and real basil. It tastes just as good!.

3. Transfer the soup to a blender, and add a few more essential ingredients.

4. Blend until completely smooth, and serve.

Health benefits of Black Pepper and Basil.

Black Pepper is best known as a common cooking spice that enhances the flavor of foods, but its internal and topical benefits are equally noteworthy. This essential oil is high in monoterpenes and sesquiterpenes, known for their antioxidant activity and ability to help ward off environmental and seasonal threats when used internally. Ingested Black Pepper promotes healthy circulation, but should be used with caution when applied topically due to its strong warming sensation. It can also help with the digestion of foods, making it an ideal oil to cook with and enjoy both for its flavour and internal benefits

Basil has a warm, spicy, yet herbal aroma known for its use in cooking throughout the world. Basil also provides great benefits due to its high linalool content. Cooling to the skin, Basil is an ideal essential oil for use in an uplifting aromatic massage. It is also known to help skin look clean, clear, and healthy when applied topically

Oil Safety

For all my cooking recipes I only recommend using Do-Terra oils as it is tested and approved for internal use. If you don’t have the oil you can always use simple fresh basil leaves.

If you are pregnant, nursing, or under a doctor’s care, consult your physician. Avoid contact with eyes, inner ears, and sensitive areas.
