Earthing or grounding is about connecting yourself to the Earth's natural healing energy.

There are many activities that you can do to literally connect yourself to the earth such as barefoot walking or swimming and breathing. Grounding allows for the body to calm itself so that it sends the signal that there isn’t an actual threat present.”
Another great technique for grounding is smelling essential oils. Great oils to use are tree oils like Sandalwood, Cedarwood, myrrh, frankincense. They connect you to the earth as they are extracted from the bark of the trees so the oil literally comes directly from roots into the earth outside.
You can put them on your aroma bracelet so you can smell them during practice or run your diffuser if you have one or dilute them in a carrier oil and massage your temples and wrists.
3 drops Sandalwood - to ground you
3 drops Lavender - to release any stress
1 drop Orange- to uplift and energize.
